General Principles
The Formula World Championship exists in a parallel universe to ours where racing is one of the most popular sports in the world. Formally organized & sanctioned
Grand Prix Racing will begin in Year 1. The Formula World Championship will be sanctioned by the IAU (International Automobile Union).
The racing championship shall consist of 28 races across the globe, contested by 12 different constructors, each fielding 2 cars per race.
Race weekends will consist of 3 practice sessions of one hour, followed by a 3 round qualifying session of 20 minutes per round, and one feature race. Sprint races are currently not going to be run.
There are 111 points up for grab at each race weekend. After qualifying is completed, the car placed on pole position will receive 1 championship point. Once the race ends, position will determine their points, with the top 12 scoring points.
Points will be awarded as follows; 25 points to P1, 18 points to P2, 15 points to P3, 12 points to P4, 10 points to P5, 8 points to P6, 6 points to P7, 5 points to P8, 4 points to P9, 3 points to P10, 2 points to P11, and 1 point to P12.
An additional championship point will be awarded to the driver recording the fastest lap throughout the race.

Car Specifications
All cars will be built to the same specifications. Each team will receive 2 chassis from FWC to develop their own cars, using the same power unit across the grid.
Power units will be supplied by Altima Automobili, a third-party manufacturer who is a key sponsor with FWC.
All cars will be built with an impact-resistant reinforced tub to hold the driver. All cars will be equipped with a Halo device and reinforced air intake covers to protect the driver from impacts.
All constructors will receive a set number of upgrade slots which they can use to upgrade any single aspect of their car profile. The number of upgrade slots is determined by their sponsor’s involvement. See sponsorship regulations.
Car profiles will consist of the car reliability, straight speed, cornering speed, tire wear, and aerodynamics.
Aero Components
All constructors are provided a list of aero regulations for each season. All aero components are up to the constructor to design within regulations. Drag reduction systems are allowed, and all tracks will be equipped with DRS zones.
All new aero components will be inspected prior to and after every event, including random inspections to ensure compliance to rules.
Car Mass
All cars will adhere to weight minimum and maximum restrictions. All cars and drivers will be weighed before and after each session.
Power Units
All cars will be equipped with V10 Altura engines. They are free to upgrade the engine within the power unit regulations throughout the year, but all cars will begin the year on the same level.
All engine components will be inspected prior to and after every event, including random inspections to ensure compliance to rules.
Fuel Systems
All cars will utilize the same fuel, provided by Arroyo Energy Group. The fuel is an environmentally friendly fuel designed specifically for these engines.
Fuel cells within each car will hold enough fuel for each race in its entirety, meaning there are no refueling stops.
Tire Suppliers
All cars will utilize the same tires, supplied by Hanzo Tires. These tires will include a Soft, Medium, Hard, Intermediate, and Wet.
All constructors will be provided the same amount of tires per race, dependent on the track and weather of the race weekend.
Each driver must use at least 2 different tire compounds during each race.
Driver Regulations
New drivers will be added in waves every few years, to always keep the pool fresh. Each pool will consist of a mix of young drivers and moderately experienced drivers who are worthy of a shot.
Driver age is measured against Y1 for drivers in Wave 1. Future waves will have a year determined to measure ages against before implementation.
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age to compete in the Formula World Championship.
Sponsorship Regulations
All teams can have up to 5 sponsors at a time. All sponsorhip deals will last 1 year at a time, with the option to extend if desired.
Sponsor involvement has a direct impact on the number of upgrade slots each team gets.
Very high sponsors offer 4 slots, high sponsors offer 3, medium offer 2, and low offer 1.
This means that teams and sponsors can have prolonged relationships, if they should desire to.
Sponsors and teams can also choose to terminate a sponsorship at any point, if they should so desire to.
Upgrade slots are determined at the beginning of each season, so if a sponsor leaves, their upgrade slots are not lost. Additionally, upgrade slots are not given mid-season for adding sponsors.
New sponsors will be added to the sponsor pool every few years to keep options fresh.
Juniors Series
A juniors series will be held, with cars made to 75% of the FWC specifications.
Drivers can be chosen from the remaining drivers, or select drivers from the next wave.
