The Organization
The Formula World Championship (FWC) exists in a parallel universe where racing is one of the most popular sports globally. The FWC is headquartered in London, United Kingdom.
Sanctioned by the IAU (International Automobile Union), the FWC represents the pinnacle of single-seater motorsport, combining elite driver talent, cutting-edge technology, and fierce global competition. Starting in Year 1, the championship features 28 races worldwide, with 12 constructors fielding 2 cars each.
Race weekends include three practice sessions, a three-round qualifying session, and a feature race, with no sprint races currently planned.
Points are awarded to the top 12 finishers, with bonus points for pole position and fastest lap. All cars share the same base specifications, powered by V10 engines from Altura Automobili, and utilize standardized fuel and tires. Teams can upgrade their cars based on sponsorship involvement, which directly influences their upgrade slots.
The FWC also features a Juniors Series for emerging drivers and emphasizes sustainability, safety, and thrilling, high-stakes racing, captivating fans across the universe.
